RED Sky at night… Cocktail lover’s delight!
New destination bar opens in Glasgow’s Finnieston area.
The Clydeside revival is showing no signs of slowing down as we can reveal the city’s first sky bar, RED Sky Bar, will open its doors to the public at 5pm on Friday, 11th May.

Occupying the 9th floor of the new Radisson RED hotel in Glasgow’s Finnieston area, RED Sky Bar will offer a completely new bar experience, featuring an extensive drinks menu and a feel-good energy.
Along with culture hubs such as the SSE Hydro, Clydeside Distillery and Riverside Museum, RED Sky Bar celebrates the uncompromising and unshakable culture of the city and hopes to transform this once neglected area of Glasgow into a thriving cultural hub.
The ninth-floor hang-out will also celebrate the city’s local talent.
Over the coming months, RED Sky Bar will welcome some of Glasgow’s hottest DJ’s to set the soundtrack and create an atmosphere that is sure to get people venturing down to the river again and again.
Michael Weston, Curator at Radisson RED Glasgow said, “The Clydeside shipyards gave life to Glasgow. They built the city and are undeniably part of Red Sky Bar’s identity. It was important for us to create a bar that wasn’t your typical hotel bar. We wanted to create one that felt part of the city, and would be a place that the people of Glasgow would be proud of.”
RED Sky Bar brings with it panoramic views across the Clyde, and pays homage to the city and the iconic river that built it.
